Ngangk kidji Yok Koora Ngaany (Mothers & Women Before Me).

In Noongar, the word for mother and sun are the same, Ngangk, meaning giver of life. The mural explores this idea through her nanna’s face, as depicted in her youth and haloed in light, and through all the women who came before, represented by the flowing wind and water

Sea Turtle

The first canvas Marcia painted, originally designed for her sister, this piece tells the story of the journey of the sea turtle, from an egg on the shore, to swimming deep in the ocean.
